When I have a busy day with very little time to ponder about what I want to wear, I just use this simple trick that solves all my wardrobe dilemmas. Instead of rummaging through my clothes(and making my room look like it was hit by a tornado), I keep a few pieces that match the top i am wearing. In today's post I'm going to show you what I would wear if I had to run from one event to the other.

Look 1

A casual look is always something that I personally go for most days. Whether you're going for an informal meeting or just hanging out with your friend over lunch, this look is perfect. I am wearing this lovely basic purple tee from Garage Clothing with ripped jeans, Aldo shoes and H & M bag. I don't remember where I bought the jeans from but Asos, Topshop and Abercrombie and Fitch have similar styles.

Look 2

For this look I have on this teeny tiny shorts from Forever 21 and Call it Spring shoes. Perfect for daytime with sneakers and with heels for a night appropriate look. You just cannot go wrong with this one - super comfortable and chic.

Look 3

Ok so I'm wearing the same heels from the previous look for this one and I forgot to put on a fancy necklace to make it look more night time appropriate but oh well. This long flowy, gorgeous skirt with cutouts from H & M is one of my favorite pieces. If you are going for a drinking sesh with the girls or just on a date night with your boyfie, this is the skirt that you want to make a statement. Also, this is a great option for all you girls out there who are short like me because it makes your legs look longer. Totally dig this look!

If you are wondering where I've been, I just want to start by saying that I'm sorry for the lack of updates! This is what happens when your computer just decides to give up on you one day! Working without a computer on a tablet can be quite annoying when you have pretty pictures to post and less time to fiddle with the keyboard's technicalities. Anyway, in spite of the all the difficulties, I thought I'd post something related to everyone's favorite weather - Spring!

What stands out for me the most, apart from transitioning to summer clothes is wearing bright colors on your nails. I am a fan of bright colors anyway so I just wait for this season to start desperately only to rock colorful nails. I have dry hands so Spring is the time when my hands recovers from all the dryness it has suffered during winter which means less maintenance. If you know how lazy I am, you will know how much time I will spare from my day just to paint my nails. But all the hard work pays off - especially in this season! So enough rambling and let's get on with my top picks for Spring.

Essie Mademoiselle - This soft pinky nude color is perfect for days when you just want a more natural color on the nails.

Essie Tart Deco - Two coats of this bright polish produces the best neon orange color you have ever seen. Of course, this isn't too flashy and can uplift a simple outfit and your mood! ;)

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in How Nude - I absolutely love all nail polishes from the Sally Hansen miracle gel nail range. This particular nude is my go to nude that almost matches my skin color.

Sinful Colors Wonder Mint - At just $1.99, this brand is one of the most affordable brands with an array of wonderful colors. I am wearing this on my nails right now and I have received so many compliments on this already. One of the best mint colors that I own for sure.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Sugar Fix - I fell in love with this periwinkle blue color immediately. What is there to not like?! You are going to make a statement in this one! :)

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mint Sorbet - I swear this post is not sponsored by Sally Hansen haha. How can one forget about this light shade of minty green that is natural yet so chic. You can intensify the color if you want by adding more coats but two coats of this are sure to give you good results.

Summer is just around the corner so I thought I'd do a post about some of the sunglasses that I reach out for the most. I have always strayed away from wearing sunglasses because of my pea sized head LOL but if you pull it off with confidence, there is no chance of going wrong. Also, understanding the shape of your face is a plus point. The styles and colors that they are available in has evolved so much. From simple black classic ones to chic patterns and unique colors, the options are endless. Now I don't have a favorite brand because I buy whatever appeals to the eye. If the sunnies have a flattering pattern but are not from a high-end brand, I will still buy it. Here are some of my favorite sunnies that I am going to flaunt this summer!

These Raybans with a red tint are a nice change from the classic black aviators. I remember going to the Sunglass Hut here in Calgary and looking at chic, summery patterns and colors. Rayban has a vast array of selection and so you have so many patterns to choose from. I did a fashion post last week and I have these sunglasses on but it goes with pretty much anything. I am going to put links at the end of this post of sunglasses that I fancy.

Dolce and Gabbana

Dolce and Gabbana have some of the most sophisticated and elegant styles. Burberry. Prada, Coach, Dior and D & G fall in the same category. This particular style that I own is a more stylish take on the classic Rayban aviators that I was talking about earlier. The gold frame complements the black well and gives it a chic look. I can see myself rocking these with a red lippie and an all black ensemble! Whatever you choose, dressing it up or dressing it down, you're surely going to make a statement with this!

Asos houses some of the best brands and the coolest collection of clothes, accesories and everything. Not gonna lie, Asos is one of my go-to websites if I'm on the hunt for something specific - I know I'll always find it there. When these sunnies caught my attention, at first I was a bit apprehensive because of the color. I thought it was too flashy and that I will never be able to pull it off. Now when I wear it, I always get stopped and asked where it is from.
